Mtoto Mchoraji:

In Swahili, Mtoto Mchoraji means 'Drawing Child'. Mtoto Mchoraji is an Art outreach non-profit organization for the Young youth, and Children registered in Tanzania.
 
Aiming to empower and provide rich creative (and free) opportunities to young youths and children through Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Life Skills and Education - in essence, a safe place for kids and young youths to go where they can learn the language(English and Swahili), explore cultural endeavors, sharing some ideas, having hot meals and also have some fun.

We are located in the Historical Town of Bagamoyo - Tanzania

The pictures below show two different looks of the Mtoto Mchoraji premise. One with the Palm leaves roof was an old place in 2005 - 2012, the other with the black gate, white wall, and logo on it, is the new place invented 2014.

Bagamoyo is a town founded at the end of the 18th century, though it is an extension of a much older(8th century) settlement, Kaole. It was the capital of German East Africa and was one of the most important trading ports along the East African coast along the west of the Indian Ocean. The town has more than 311,740 inhabitants and is the capital of the Bagamoyo District.
 
Bagamoyo is located at 6°26′S 38°54′E. It lies 75 kilometers(47 miles) north of Dar-es-Salaam on the coast of the Indian Ocean, across from Zanzibar island.
