Visual Arts/HandCraft(Paintings, Drawings, Batik/Tie-Dye And Jewelry) Display @ Mtoto Mchoraji

Exhibitions, Indoor/Outdoor Stage Performances, Art Classes, and Workshops are among the things planned in Mtoto Mchoraji. These are arranged as a way to advertise ourselves locally and internationally and gain funds so that Mtoto Mchoraji Centre can run by itself and save money for the children it supports.

Mtoto Mchoraji combines 30 people, boys, and girls. This represents 10 youth who act as tutors and teachers, also caretake for the kids at Mtoto Mchoraji, and 20 young students. Our plan is to add more kids in the future, which is dependent on what we have in terms of capital funds, materials, and facilities. Mtoto Mchoraji also supports some kids here in Bagamoyo by supplying school items like uniforms and books. Additionally to public school, Mtoto Mchoraji supplies the children with supplemental education.

Self – Sustainability

At the Mtoto Mchoraji Centre, sustainability is one of our most important values. As we mentioned, exhibitions, shows, visual art classes, and workshops are the ones of the activities we plan because it is critical for the Centre to support itself through revenue generation via the sale of artistic goods, giving fine arts and handcrafts lessons, paid performances, and future plans to do local agricultural activities when we have our own farming land.
Together, this will provide a solid foundation for the future growth and long-term sustainability of the Centre.
